Restaurant Belvedere is composed of a pleasant saloon and a wide veranda on an evocative panorama.
The plates that can be tasted are elaborated with typical products of the territory and detailed attention to the seasonality of the same ones.
The several menus generally are suggested from Abruzzo's tradition that with its simple but decided testes succeeds to rapire the palates to the research of flavors of a strong and fully coloured land.
As started dishes you can taste the pecorino, cheese symbol of these places, that exalts its scent, accompanied from honey of chestnut tree and walnuts that sweeten its rude flavor. The perfumed salami, the peasant cakes of vegetables, the farro salade, the fresh ricotta, the frittelle with anchovy, the turcinello.
Concerning the first plates, the classic "chitarra al sugo", the ravioli with ricotta and vegetables, the "gnocchi di patate" prepared in several sauces, traditional "sagne e fagioli", the polenta with gravy and sausage, the timballo, the "pappardelle" tipical plate of the house.
Among second courses, ovine meats, lamb with typical arrosticini of abruzzo's sheep. The lombati of pig irrorate from balsamic vinegar produced from the local vines, the tasty roast of calf with the scents of the spontaneous grass of this place and then the game cooked with the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and accompanied from mushrooms and chestnuts.
